Real-world feedback on the value I bring to teams and organizations.
The endorsements below reflect how others describe my professional impact — detail-oriented, creative, and dependable, with a talent for translating complex requirements into clear, actionable results. Collected from my LinkedIn profile, they provide real-world validation of the strengths I bring to healthcare IT, technical communication, and project strategy.
I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Gay, and I can confidently say she is one of the most detail-oriented and dedicated professionals I’ve worked with. Her work ethic is exceptional—Gay consistently goes above and beyond expectations, often anticipating needs before they arise and delivering outstanding results.
What truly sets Gay apart is her creativity. She approaches challenges with a fresh perspective and brings innovative ideas to the table that elevate the quality of every project. Her ability to think outside the box while maintaining precision and structure is a rare and valuable combination.
Superstar to add to any team, Gay project manages using the SAFe methodology with agility and success, a rare combo. Gay proactively sets leadership up with the tools, templates, monitoring, and content that are critical to the business needs. And her innovative visuals illustrate the business value-add data stories. FHIR is one of her latest passions and her technical documentation and training materials provide solid transition and monitoring tools. To have Gay is to be able to start your project engines and move forward without needing to look back – she has you covered!
We recently asked Gay to write and produce an e-learning workbook to run alongside a program of e-learning videos that we’d made – and she did a fantastic job. I’d highly recommend Gay to any organisation requiring a professional writer to develop education based supporting materials. Gay has great attention to detail, is creative and listened to all of our feedback. We’re looking forward to working with Gay again.
I have worked with Gay on two major projects in addition to other initiatives. Her creativity is amazing and she has raised our user documentation to a whole new level. I had a customer ask if they could borrow her after showing Gay’s work.
Gay’s knowledge of available tools, organization of documentation, and ability to translate from Agile stories to comprehensive user documentation is impressive.
Gay was instrumental in the success of the project that we worked on together. She was able to take loosely gathered information and bring it together into an extremely valuable set of training materials. Her ability to come into the project with no background and quickly understand the goals and provide suggestions on how to meet them was remarkable. Gay is dependable, professional, and creative. I look forward to other opportunities to work together.
I offer my strong support of Gay Stahr. Gay worked for several years at Georgia Perimeter College, initially in the Marketing and Public Relations division of the college, and more recently in the Office of Information Technology. In OIT, Gay served as a technical writer, but her scope of responsibilities was greater than just doing this role. She also worked to assess the OIT website and its targeted constituencies to assure that the site was serving the clientele effectively.
Gay is articulate, understands the need for effective communication and is strongly self-motivated. Gay studied for and passed the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and aspired to taking on more responsibility in this area… If you elect not to hire Gay, you will be missing a real opportunity to pick up a skilled individual and a team player who might not have otherwise been on the market had it not been for our misfortune.
I have known Gay Stahr for 8 years. We first met when she was an administrative assistant to my current boss who is VP of Institutional Advancement at Georgia Perimeter College and I was the assistant director of media relations. Since then, we have had the opportunity to work on multiple communications projects, design power point presentations and serve as presenters at international conferences. I’ve watched Gay grow into her new position as technical writer for the college with great enthusiasm and pride.
Gay has unlimited energy and enthusiasm. She is greatly talented in providing technical support as well as graphic design and writing expertise and strategic communication planning.
